मन करता था हमेशा एक बेटी मेरे घर भी होती
ख्वाब यही था वो आँगन मेरा महकाती होती

चाहत दिल मे उभरती वही ख़तम हो जाती थी
नाराज़ रब के सामने ना एक भी कारी फाती थी

एक दिन वो अचानक से ख्वाब सी मेरी ज़िंदगी मे आई
जो देखा था ख्वाब वो सच करने को जैसे आज आई

मासूम सी थी वो सूरत जैसे परिलोक से वो आई
हसती थी जब वो फूलवारी खिलती जाती थी

मिलना मुश्किल था उस को दूर जो थी वो बसी
किल्कारी उस की हसी की गम उड़ाए ले जाती थी

खुश था,थी खुश ज़िंदगानी पाके खुशी बेटी की
महसूस होती थी पास चाहे तस्वीर मे वो बेथी थी

अचानक गुरता हुआ हवा का एक झोंका आया
तस्वीर बेटी की वो अपने साथ उड़ा ले गया

दिल क्रंदन करने लगा थी वो ज़िंदगी मेरी
नही थी वो तस्वीर वो तो थी बेटी मेरी

करता हू प्यार बेहद उसे वापस मे कैसे लाउ
दिल करता हे पुकार वो बेटी अब मे कहा से लाउ

वो बेटी अब मे कहा से लाउ...........

I think of you each single day,

Because I miss the way we fight.

I pray for you every night,

Because I miss you not being in my sight.

I miss the sound of your voice,

That I am sick and tired of all this noise.

I miss the way you smell,

Oh that smell.

I miss the look upon your face,

That made me smile with such grace.

I love you so much I cant deny,

For when I see you I will break down and cry.

For when I cry these happy tears,

I wont have anymore fears.

Youll be home safe with me,

That Ill be able to sleep.
